REHABILITATION PROGRAM
In congruence to the Therapeutic Community (TC) perspective, drug dependency is viewed as symptomatic of an underlying disorder of the total person, exhibiting behavioral, cognitive, psychological, social, and moral characteristics that are inadequate to support a well-adjusted, functional, and sober lifestyle (Perfas, 2004, p. 19-22). Conversely, continuous drug use contributes significantly to personality, emotional, cognitive, social, and even health problem in general. Therefore, treatment of drug dependency should be holistically addressed, focusing on the physical, psychosocial and spiritual paradigm of the problem. Hence, presented hereunder are the rehabilitation programs implemented in DOH TRC - Bicutan:
- PHYSICAL FITNESS PROGRAMS/ACTIVITIES
- PSYCHOSOCIAL PROGRAMS
- SPIRITUAL/RELIGIOUS PROGRAM
- EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
- FOLLOW UP & AFTER CARE PROGRAM
